Hey guys! I hope you had an excellent weekend. I feel like the weekends are just flying by and  I can hardly remember what we got done. All I know is that Parker’s room is coming along and this week will be painting day!

Last year was Andrew’s first Fathers Day and I tried to make it as special as I could with DIY’s, gifts, cards, and dinner. This year with the house, the car, the bills and payments we decided to go very budget friendly and not go overboard (which I could easily do). Here are some ideas I have in mind, and I hope you find some inspiration.

Gift #1: A wallet I feel is a very appropriate gift because they use it everyday and it can quickly fall apart.

Gift #2: Engraved card holder. I gave this to Andrew last year and he carries it everywhere. It really came in handy with his business cards. You can have them engraved with a quote or name which I feel is a very special reminder of how loved he is. il_570xN.392951658_2ob6

Gift #3: Key chain. Men are not fond of necklaces, bracelets or rings like some of us ladies. A key chain is the perfect accessory they can carry around and glance eat very now and then .

Gift #4: DIY gift basket. This gift is very simple and easy to put together. All you need is a basket or box and fill it with all the things they love. Candy, clothes, favorite drink, essentials (body wash, razor, shampoo) etc. the possibilities are endless here.37271d0bfc58b1a3b91bc05db5ec4a84

Gift #5: Picture frame for the office. A few weeks ago, I took a picture of Parker wearing one of Andrew’s work shirts. I would have do it again and make it look “professional” then frame it and maybe add a quote somewhere.Screenshot_20160613-141908

I hope these 5 gift ideas inspire you. Father’s Day is just as special as Mother’s Day celebrate, be happy and enjoy every second of it. What are your plans for fathers day?
