Every month there is one thing that I look forward to and that is Ipsy’s glam bag. I am really exited to incorporate reviews on the monthly subscription on the blog. Although I am still not sure how I feel about this subscription I still enjoy some of the products that have been sent.

Ipsy is a monthly subscription that gets sent to your door with goodies that are tailored to your style. The vary from full size to sample size, it is a way to present you items that you might like without purchasing the full size item. This month’s theme was #ipsypink! which is very appropriate since it is the month of love and all things pink. This is what my February glam bag looked like.

Starting off with the bag itself it was cute…I wasn’t in love with it it looked like they used puffy paint to paint the image on the bag. I have yet to fall in love with a bag that they send.

Skinfix Ultra Rich Body Butter: I was pretty excited when I saw this product because it is targeted for dry skin and that is right up my alley. I must say this is not my favorite lotion, it just doesn’t melt into the skin and it feels very greasy and slippery. Maybe this will work well for my legs but not my hands, don’t like the way it feels after you’ve applied it.

Vintage by Jessica Liebeskind: This lip gloss is a shimmery pinky nude with gold sparkles so I was not too happy about it. I really don’t have much to say about this since I am not a fan of glossy lips. Maybe one day I will enjoy it but for now I think I’ll pass.

Ciate mini Olivia Palermo in “my off duty nude”: This is a beautiful nail polish, and I was pretty happy to see this item in the bag. I don’t have a nail polish collection so getting this was a plus. The color itself is a very effortless ballerina, soft, baby pink, very classy and I will definitely get some use out of this.

tre’Stique baby blush stick in “Bora Bora Coral”: I had already received a lip stick from this brand that I absolutely love so I had really high hopes with this blush and I was not let down. This is a beautiful coral blush it is creamy and it blends very well into the skin. My favorite way to use it is to dab some product on my fingertips and lightly pat it on my cheeks and blend it out with a duo fiber brush. I am loving this product specially for the spring.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer in “Neutral Medium”: This is the item I was the most excited about, I have heard nothing but good things about this brand and this concealer. I have yet to try it but swatching it on the back of my hand it felt thick but blendable, super high coverage and not at all sticky. As for the color I don’t know if this is the right color for me, it almost looks too pink for my liking but it could possibly be because this is meant to cover dark circles. I am going to try it out an hopefully fall in love with it.

Final thoughts are that I liked this months bag I got 3 maybe 4 items I am most excited about with the exception of the lip gloss and the lotion lets just say I’m on the fence. The concealer, nail polish, and blush are definitely things that I see myself using and probably purchasing the full size version. That is all for today’s post, I will be back another day with my daily skin care routine, ’till next time.

Tootles.
